The World of Gaea (Rules)

Hello everyone and welcome to The World of Gaea. This is a roleplay site that deals in working with other people, to create a collaborative, fun, and engaging story. There are certain rules that must be addressed first, however, before anyone can effectively roleplay on the boards.
Rules:
1. No plagiarism. None of this, period. Plagiarism is a punishable offense outside of the basic rules of this site. People caught doing this will have be warned about it once and that's final. Repeated offenses means suspension from the forums and even being banned if one is believed to be ignoring an admin/mod's orders on this particular situation. What is plagiarism? Plagiarism is essentially taking another person's work, be it drawn or written, and passing it off as your own. It is akin to theft and piracy, both of which are no-nos in the real world.
2. Be respectful. I don't know how else to stress this, but this rule speaks for itself. Everybody on here is a person behind the screen. Sure that makes it easier for one to say their own thoughts without any physical repercussions, but be mindful of the fact EVERYONE has feelings, regardless of who it is. Do not resort to angry/confrontational retorts when a compromise cannot be met. Do not get belligerent with staff when it comes to approvals, or punishments being dolled out. Do not purposefully insult others with the intent to harm, mock, or ostracize them. Offenders will be warned about this a couple of times, before they are punished for a repeated offense. Lastly, just be mindful of what you say and if someone feels uncomfortable about what is being said, kindly stop, and shift the conversation/topic to a more appropriate one.
3. This is an 18+ site. Sex and gore (roleplayed out) are allowed. Despite that, however, DO NOT place pornographic imagery onto the site. It is fine to roleplay it out, but do not provide links, or images to explicitly sexual content. One will receive a single warning, before being banned for it a second time. The forum could be placed in jeopardy if media like that hits the boards.
4. Original Characters only. What does that mean? This site doesn't allow for canon characters, meaning that you can't have Naruto, Monkey D. Luffy, Ichigo, or any character with an established canon in anime, on this site. Now that doesn't mean you can't have their Face Claim, which is the image or avatar you provide, to give a description on how the character will look. However, everything else must be original from the abilities, background/history, and other additions that can be made in the character creation process.
5. Have fun and don't be afraid to message your staff with questions regarding the site!
